Book Review: Dale Jr's Winston Cup Rookie Season in - 2000
Summary: 5 Stars

A forthright and revealing look into the life of one of NASCAR's hottest young drivers - chronicling his rookie season - complete with the thrill of victorys and the surprising role of misfortune in the high stakes game of stock car auto racing. Dale Jr's poignant retelling of episodes with his father and his racing team make for a good read. Even diehard fans who saw every Winston Cup race in 2000, will learn something about how it feels to be a part of the Budweiser team. Dale Jr writes like he drives, direct and to the front. His descriptions of the Bud team's struggle with difficult rides are as interetsing as the times when everthing clicks and the red #8 car drives like every hot rodder's dream. Dale Jr closes by briefly sharing his thoughts upon his father's untimily death, followed by Dale Jr's popular win in the Pepsi 400 (2001). This book is a great primer for the Dayton 500, [...]. Thanks for sharing your rookie year [...]. My only question now is when will Dale Jr being writing "The Big One" about Big E.

Book Review: Dale Jr.
Summary: 4 Stars

I did enjoy this book. At first I was beginning to not like Junion because of his huge ego, then he bought a kitten and I changed my mind a bit. Gives a different spin to Nascar, I still think Junior will have a hard time finding a woman that thinks he's half as hot as he thinks he is though.

Book Review: Dale Jr. Fan
Summary: 5 Stars

I became a fan of NASCAR during the 2001 season. My dad was always a fan and I'd watch some of the races a few years ago with him. I decided at that time that I liked Jeff Gordon because I thought he was "cute". When I began watching the races more seriously, I started liking Dale Jr. (I also think he is a "hottie"!) After reading his book I am now a devoted Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan. His book was great! I felt like he was talking to me. The way he told his stories and the language that he used, you could almost hear him. I learned a lot about him as a driver and as a person. I also learned a lot more about NASCAR racing and what the teams go through week after week. It is truly a team sport. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys NASCAR.
