Duck on a bike is a favorite in my house! My favorite! My two year old wants it almost every night. My four year old loves to "read it" and my eight year old really does read it to his brother. The pictures are wonderful. It's simple yet clever and totally enjoyable!Book Review: Excellent!

I was hesitant to purchase this book. I usually try to buy books that rhyme, because they're easier and more fun for me to read (over, and over, and over). Though this is not a rhyming story, it is very cute and I love all the animals. It will be easy for me to engage my 3 yr old son with this book. I don't have his opinion yet since it's for Christmas, but based on his preferences, I know he's going to love it!
Even if you don't care for the "David" books by Shannon (which I don't), this is a great book.

This is a charming book with fabulous pictures that children absolutely love. The story captures their attention each time I have used it in speech-language therapy sessions. It's a great one to use with young children for engagement in simple conversation as well as predicting outcomes.Book Review: Fantastic artwork, marvelous fun!

We originally checked this one out of the library, but we had to purchase it as it's a favorite repeat! What amazing artwork!!! Bold, beautiful, and totally engaging! The story is very funny, even to the youngest set. For my son, it's been a wonderful introduction to the concept of "thinking" and how to express and wonder about what someone else might be "thinking". It is definitely on our current "top 10" list of our all-time favorite books! Thank you for the duck at "The End" eying that tractor and scratching his chin... perhaps a sequel????Book Review: Fun Read!

My two year old and four year old love this book! We checked it out of the library and were sad to have to return it. The story moves along in a very predictable way, yet has a great twist at the end. It gets read several times a week and has definitely become one of our family's new favorites!
