This is a collection of papers given at a convention about 10 years ago. It explores subjects such as land use, religious art and trade in Deira during the "Dark Ages". In spite of the small number of artifacts, the participants have come up with a number of provocative theories regarding this small kingdom.
I would be interested in seeing some information on more recent finds in this area.
