Book Review: Too American!
Summary: 1 Stars

I was very disappointed with this product. Having been recently diagnosed as having high Cholesterol I was looking for a practical cookery book that I could use regularly to produce low cholesterol meals. However all the recipes use American measurements ( what is a cup of flour, for heavens' sake?), they are quite basic and not appealing to my European taste. There is a lot of mention of American products by names such as Grahams crackers which I have never seen here so don't eat and other s I have not even heard of. It also suggests ways to change your diet by not eating hamburgers and pizzas every day - neither of which I eat, but I imagine these make up a great percentage of the average obese American's diet.
I have put it on the bookshelf but I don't suppose I will look at it again and can find little use for it.
