Book Reviews of Eating the AlphabetBook Review: eat your veggies! Summary: 4 Stars
no one could believe our two year old knew what a zucchini or kiwi was by sight! and the 'ugly fruit' is a favorite in our house. great book for introducing a picky eater to different fruits and veggies. wish it was a bigger book... but it is good for small hands to hold.
Book Review: he might know aspargus, but he still won't eat it Summary: 4 Stars
I got this book to help my two year old be familiar with food, and not the "food" in most kids books. It worked, he knows the foods he eats, bananas, carrots, lettuce, etc and even ones he won't asparagus, strawberries, and corn on the cob. I knew it was unrealistic to expect a book to make him like new vegetables, but he still is on his "if I don't know it, i don't want it kick" that he has been in for the last several months. But I know this phase won't last forever.
So, the book has a pretty extensive collection of fruits and vegetables for any foodie baby in training. The illustrations are bright and appealing. My son likes to see all of the foods that he is familiar with and loves connecting them to his ABCs.
Book Review: vocabulary acquisition Summary: 5 Stars
Being a teacher of English, I recommend this book because it's a must-have item, one can learn better about fruit and vegetables by looking at them. It can used by students of all ages
