Book Review: Wholehearted Recommendation!
Summary: 5 Stars
I would recommend this book for anyone considering or embarking on Christian Home Education/ Home schooling.
Although the cover appears old fashioned, the book is filled with relevant scripture, practical advice and commonsense. I found it easy to read and it can be picked up and put down, if you do not have time to read a lot at once. The Clarksons give lots of examples from their own family life of how home education has worked for them, and lessons they have learned, and also help you to think about why you are doing/ thinking of doing H.E. They encourage you to be organised (but not to an extreme) and handy photocopiable schedule forms are included at the back.
The only person who this book would not suit would be someone looking for a complete pre-prepared curriculum or someone who does not enjoy reading books, as it is focused on the 'Whole Book' Approach. Otherwise, I would say this is a 'must buy'!
