Book Review: "Emotional Freedom" really works!!!
Summary: 5 Stars
Facing the departure of my youngest son for college, I read "Emotional Freedom" hoping that this book would have some suggestions on getting over depression due to "empty nest" syndrome.
One night, I decided that I would try asking for a "guidance dream" to help me get over my anxiety and depression and adjust to the fact that my son was leaving home. The dream that I had that night was nothing short of amazing.
In my dream, I was shown symbolically how my life and my children's lives would continue to develop and intersect as time goes on. This symbolism clarified to me that my son's departure, although part of a bigger picture, was not "good-bye". As a result, I have calmed down considerably and can accept this inevitable "parting" so that he can move on and live the life he was meant to live.
This book is brilliant on so many levels. It is right on the money and at the top of my list because Dr. Orloff's methods work!
