Book Review: 'Envy' by Sandra Brown
Summary: 4 Stars
I felt that this book had extremely postive points and it kept me intrigued. I enjoyed learning secrets about each of the characters and seeing there secrets intertwined with the plot. It was easy to make predictions about each character and wait in enthusiam to see if you were correct.
The only negative critism I can come up with is that the main character, Maris, was a bit too naive and too much of a true romantic. I prefer a character who thinks with their brains and not so much with their favorite version of a dramatic fairytale. I can say that the story probably would not have worked if the main character was less of an unenlightened princess and instead had more qui vive when being approaced by the opposite sex.
