Book Review: Interesting Detail and Colorful Narrative

I was late to work 30 minutes this morning, because I could not stop reading this book. I stopped, so I didn't take all the pleasure out of it, by denying myself more to read this Labor Day weekend.Christopher Paolini is a great new author. The book is reminiscent of the Wizard of Earthsea series by McCaffrey. It moves fast, yet has a great attention to colorful detail. The story line provides suprises and has kept me interested and involved up to the end. Too bad I'm almost done with the book. :(
I'm going to have to write the author and tell him how much I've enjoyed this book. Waiting eagerly for the next installment in the series.
Highly recommend it.
