Book Review: ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!!

I am a relatively new student to the Russian language, however, I have accumulated a pretty large library of books, including a number of grammar books, "self teach" books, audio programs, etc., and this is the most PATHETIC and WORTHLESS book of them ALL! Let's start on page #3: "Stress"... and let me paraphrase: the vowel "O," when stressed, is pronounced like "aw" in "law." NO... it is NOT! It should say "ow" as in "low". I assumed it was a typo, and moved on. However, I didn't get past page #9 and the accusative case. I will spare you the details, but among other things, this section missed the whole fact that ANY verb that ends with "a" changes to "y", regardless whether it's male, female, animate, or inanimate. Then there is the fact this text completely misses the point where the accusative case is used in "time expressions of duration or frequency." Was this because the author did not know this was the case? Was this an unimportant fact? If you think this is an unimportant issue, pick up a GOOD grammar book and read on what this means; it is a very significant issue. So I'm thinking... how can I learn anything from this book? What can I believe? What am I missing? What value can this book POSSIBLY have? I should have known... I should have asked myself: HOW could Russian grammar possibly be covered in 100 pages... for seven bucks?!!! In the end, I think this book would do far more damage to ANY person seriously interested in this language. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOOK.
