Book Review: Nice but predictabel reading

Well, well, here we are again. Serial killers (three of them!) roam the US. Two kill for lust, one kills for power. A president and wife team - Billary comes to mind, with him being soft and interested in young, even underage women and her lusting for power through him, hard as nails.
Add in a little bit of lawyerism, a trusty ex-cop with a painful past (don't they all have that?), two earnest FBI agents (aren't they all either earnest or crooked?) and the ultimate father figure, a former supreme court judge......
Naturally there are also other stalewarts, the sleazy lawyer, the sinister secret service guys, and you have all the makings of a standard airport bookshop novel.
A good read, especially if you do not like surprises.
