This book has an amazing mix of philosophy, cultural perspective on food and good reasons for returning to traditional diet, however the syntax is so completely incorrect in translation from Chinese to English that I could not persevere with trying to re-translate.
Excerpt page 230 paragraph 3 "Cow, Deer, Buffalo meat and sugar, which support to Pancreas, sugar act as a guide to send beef protein in Pancreas and increase its digestive juices. But too much sugar or sweet doesn't make any better at all, in reversed effect, it make the pancreas over work, then the pancreatitis will be happened."
Very disappointing but let me know if it ever gets properly translated.
