I LOVED KMM's Highlander series, loved DF, was disappointed in BF, so I supposed I deserved to be taken by running out and spending full price for a hardback book. I think the fact that she internet published the first two chapters was a big clue that she needed people to go out and buy in a rush, because once word got out how SUCKY this book is, sales would drop off QUICK. KMM states that she "writes as if there are no critics-" well, maybe that has gone to her head, because I completely agree with all the other disappointed fans here. Take this advice from someone who already paid the price -- there are many, many other good writers to choose from, wait until the end of the series, and then check them out from the library.
