Book Review: A very "fancy" book

I purchased two of the Fancy Nancy series for my 5 year old granddaughter - she loves them! When the book arrived, along with it's counterpart "Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy", she couldn't wait for us to read them together. She loved the story and the illustrations, and was attracted to the "girly" colors and the "before" and "after" drawings of Fancy's Nancy's bedroom! I think my granddaughter may be a "fancy" girl at heart!Book Review: A wonderful book for the little girl!

My daughter is only 2 but we received this book as a gift and she loves it. I know she will appreciate and understand it more when she gets a little older, but I love it now! Nancy is fancy, but her family isn't! She learns that you don't have to be fancy for any reason and that being yourself is better than being fancy sometimes! The illustrations are the best. You can't ask for a better book for a little girl!Book Review: ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL!!

Since my first name is Nancy, I just had to buy this book. From the front cover, which is glittery and shimmery, to the final page which almost makes one tear up, this book is absolutely delightful!
My young grandchildren loved it and the 4 1/2 year old had it memorized in 2 days--of course we had read it probably 30 times!
I am an elementary reading teacher and have shared the book with grades K through 4th to the delight of the children.
It has wonderful vocabulary development and can be a jumping off point to a lesson in adjectives!
Enjoy--I have purchased FOUR of these books already!
