An extremely interesting account and introduction through music of the Irish immigrant, (complete with cd); unfortunately only through male eyes. Apart from this one flaw it does provide a humorous and emotive introduction to the history/development of Irish music. Beautifully presented in hard cover format, clearly written and well illustrated.
A pleasant read, that encourages the reader to learn more about the realms of Irish Music and history.
