Book Reviews of Fight Club: A NovelBook Review: Amazing Summary: 5 Stars
OK. Wow. Strange. Really good. I just finished reading Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk. Chuck also wrote that book, Haunted, with the story about Saint Gut-Free. When I found out Chuck was the one who wrote Fight Club, I decided I had to read it. And boy, was I right. Wow. Another amazing novel. It's told in the weirdest way ever, but in a good way. He really captures the essence of Tyler and his friend in a weird way, where even though "they" are the strangest of characters, you can somehow relate. The ending leaves a bit to be wanted, but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. And even though it doesn't have suspense in the typical sense, you just really want to keep reading it. I really reccomend this book to anyone. I really love Chuck's books, and I had already started Survivor, also by him, before I started Fight Club, and it's good so far, too. It's told in a similar fashion as Fight Club. I really encourage you to read both.
Book Review: An amazing novel full of excitement and surprises. Summary: 5 Stars
Chuck Palahniuk presents an astonishing novel to the world of literature through his book Fight Club. Through this book he demonstrates the life of a lost man looking for what would bring meaning to his life. The story demonstrates what happens when a modern unmarried man trys to be a man. The author also gives an outlook on how evil can influence society so much by only one person. It is a book full of mystery and excitement that will let you to view life from a different point of view.
It is a great book and it was an enjoyment to read. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't already read it.
Book Review: An incredible book Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. I have seen the movie and read the book and both are extremely well done. I ahve to say however that I loved the book more. The book has so much more to it substance wise and plot wise. Chuck Palahniuk is either a genius or a psycho either way it makes for great reading. Once you pick this up you won't want to put it down. Even if you have seen the movie before reading the book it is still a relatively new story because of the differences in conversation, build up, character roles, and the ending. This is a must read as well as a must own book.
Book Review: Awesome Summary: 5 Stars
After watching the movie about 8 thousand times, I finally decided the book would be worth reading. It turned out to be evem more amazing than the movie.
At the times the movie kind of dragged on and it became a chore to watch and keep up with the story. With the book, everything is clear and it's fascinating from page 1 to the very end.
Speaking of the end, the bland, typical movie ending you're probably used to seeing is changed. I read the last chapter about three times because the original ending (the book came before the ending) is incredible and beats the movie ending by far.
All in all, this is an excellent book for anyone who has, or hasn't, seen the movie.
Book Review: Best book of all time! Summary: 5 Stars
This book was made for certain people. If you like violent movies and harmfull activaties you would like this book. It is about a man that cannot sleep and goes to support groups to help him sleep. He then sees Marla and can't sleep. He goes on buisness trips and meets Tyler Durden on a beach and then again on a plain. They then start fighting behind a bar and they make a fight Club. This is a American Classic!
