Summary: 5 Stars
This is the single most important golfing book you can buy. Forget all of the "golf channel" lessons you see on TV with some "expert" telling you how to swing the club. Mr. Hogan explains the game of golf in its most elementary forms. Everytime I read this book (it's quick and simple reading), I am able to improve my game (what little game I had to begin with). All kidding aside, the book breaks down the golf swing into elements. Mr. Hogan details every element of the swing through simple prose and exceptional illustrations and in the end explains how to piece them together.I am by no means a good golfer, but after having read this book, I was able to build a foundation on which I could improve my game.
Ben Hogan's philosophy is simplicity. He truly believes that anyone with even the slightest amount of coordination can become a respectable golfer. A MUST BUY FOR ALL GOLFERS! Any golfer will tell you that there is always room for improvement!
