John Vonhof has put together a valuable reference book, based on a lot of experience with the ultrarunning community - mainly American but with many members throughout Europe and Australia. The demands of long distance running are of course extreme, and provide a good test-bed for techniques and recommendations which may be of value to anyone who is on their feet a lot, not only runners. A friend who is a personal trainer found this book to be the solution to his foot problems (heel spurs).Well worth the money! No financial interest, just a satisfied customer.
