Book Review: Very nice children's book

We purchased this book for my 3 year old daughter who loves flamingos. This was a cute story about a young flamingo who, tired of the noise of the city, flew to the desert for peace and quiet. The story incorporates watching out for danger, such as getting sunburned, getting lost, etc. She meets new friends along the way and ultimately returns home safely. My daughter was enthralled with the story and loved the pictures. The pictures are watercolor, "Monet-ish" quality and are quite lovely. The story is nice too because the it incorporates not only good morals but bigger words and unfamiliar place names. I like that in a book. I want my daughter's vocabulary to expand and reading is one of the best ways in which to do that. The book is set in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
