Book Review: The Smallest of Superheroes and Friends

This is "Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends" easy-reader book #9, based on the television story by the same name. This story, as of the writing of this review, hasn't yet aired in the United States on either Nick Jr. or Noggin, so fans of the series would do well to check out this "new" story in the series.
Dragon, Squirt and Shimmer are out playing superheroes. They "rescue" Lil Sis and Princess Honey (a new character introduced in "The Prince, the Princess and the Bee") from Felix the frog (another relatively new character.) The two bugs aren't as happy about being "rescued" as was expected and definitely aren't happy when they're called "little." Miss Spider and Eunice Earwig try to put them together in a buddy system. But when Dragon, Squirt and Shimmer laugh at the idea of Lil Sis and Honey having "flower power," the two go off on their own.
This is a story of making a mistake, but ultimately coming through to help others. It also shows kids how important safety is, and what they can do to stay safe.
