Book Review: A delicious book
Summary: 5 Stars
I recently recieved this delicious book. It has vibrant photos and easy-to-follow recipes. And, unlike lots of my other cookbooks, it's also an amazing guide. It's loaded with tips (e.g. which foods are most important to buy organic, how to quickly peel a garlic clove, a guide to various kinds of winter squashes and what to do with them). My kids looked through the pictures and immediately had several requests. And the recipes I've tried, from muffins to soups, all got rave reviews from my family. But the thing I like best about the book is the inspirational story of how two city kids turned a roadside raspberry stand into a huge environmentally-responsible company. We can all do our part to curb global warming. Buying organic produce increases demand, and helps farmers make better choices. This book not only contains delicious recipes, it helps us understand how our simple choices can make a difference. I plan to buy more copies. It makes a brilliant holiday gift.
