Book Reviews of For Her PleasureBook Review: For Her Pleasure Summary: 4 Stars
Three well written stories with to die for characters. All have characters that are connected, so that makes them even more appealing. These stories have it all - sex along with a good story. A perfect combination. Very sensual and sexy read. I will take Ryder and Mac - those hot alpha dominate males!
Maya Banks is always a must buy!!
Book Review: For Her Pleasure Summary: 5 Stars
I really liked this book. I'm glad that two of the stories were connected as I really wanted to know what happened with the relationship with Ryder being the third. This is great book. Definitely would recommend buying it.
Book Review: For Your Pleasure Summary: 5 Stars
I loved reading this book so much that I finished it in two sittings. I did the first two stories at once (since they're connected) then hobbled out of bed (I read in an awkward position and ended up hurting my back for three days... that's book love, right there) for a break and finished the third.
I loved the emotion and tension and I'm sucker for stories where the hero (or heroes as the case may be) have to save the heroine from emotional danger as well as physical.
This book reaffirmed what I already knew, I love Maya Banks. She's my new fav.
Book Review: Get to the point! Summary: 2 Stars
This book gets two stars because the sex scenes are long and detailed, better than some other books I've seen. However, the writing is bad (I've read better stuff for free on the internet), and the sex scenes seem unrealistic. I wonder how much sex the author has actually had. It was distracting to read little details that just seemed to be off.
Then there's the issue that beyond the sex scenes there is a whole novel that is really, really bad. I bought this for my wife and we were laughing at it because the two guy characters keep talking about "that night," and all this other stuff that never gets explained. I think this back story is supposed to appeal to women, but how well can it appeal when it's so terrible?
Don't buy it.
Book Review: Good beginning, but... Summary: 3 Stars
This book seemed to start out pretty well. It was steamy, well written, basic story line but that's to be expected with these kinds of books. About half way through I became frustrated with the lead female character, she becomes slobbering, weak, needy, clingy, and annoying. Why do they always need to complicate things with marriage and pregnancy? The story would have been better without it, as well as better without her playing these two men. All in all, the sex scenes were pretty good, but the story is kind of lacking towards the end.
