Book Review: A Great Introduction to Monsters
Summary: 5 Stars
Our first reading of Frank Was a Monster Who Wanted to Dance did not end until my four year old daughter and I read through it six times. Frank is likeable guy who wasn't put together very well. As he falls apart his desire to dance remains, and there is humor in the slow loss of organs and appendages. In the process, parents appreciate Frank's resolve and kid's find that monsters aren't so scary after all. The artwork is fantastic!
