Free Fall (Retrievers, Book 5) by Laura Anne Gilman Summary and Reviews
Book Reviews of Free Fall (Retrievers, Book 5)Book Review: Wren and Sergei still great..The Retreivers series seems to be under the radar and unsung - boy are you guys all missing out. This is rattling good fun, taut, pacy and full of character. You do probably need to read them in order to understand the gravity (no pun intended!) of what goes on in this particular novel, but you won't regret having done so. The central idea that 'current' = 'magic' is brilliantly concieved and builds a coherent alternate world. The Wren and Sergei relationship is immensely satisfying and well handled. Everyone should be reading this instead of 'Blood Noir'. It's an order of magnitude better.
