Book Review: A Meaty Little Book

This book is a bargain. It is not a substitute for the bigger and more costly books for a professional engineer specializing in gearboxes, I suppose, but I think the average hobby metalworker will actually get more out of this one. It is intelligent without being terribly technical or theoretical. With this plus Machinery's Handbook, you can do a lot with gears. Just the form-relief cutting machine described towards the end is worth the price of the whole book.
