Book Reviews of Ghost Girl: The True Story of a Child in Peril and the Teacher Who Saved Her

Book Review: Awesome book and tells of human tragedy and rape.
Summary: 5 Stars

Story of a little girl and the story of rape, molesting and the horror of silence within one's self. How she reaches out to Torey and how she takes her hand and pulls her out of her trap.

Book Review: A well-written and compelling novel.
Summary: 5 Stars

This was the first book I have ever read by Torey Hayden, and now I am looking forward to reading another. This detailed and sometimes mysterious book will have you reading all night. Guaranteed. A book about Jadie, a girl affected by ritual abuse, the 8 1/2 year old protagonist will have you on the edge of your seat with wonder. Hayden's style of writing brings you to a climax of intrigue by the end of each chapter, making it almost impossible to put the book down. I hope people will read it with an open mind and an open heart. It is a true, sometimes frightening story that will open your eyes to many things you may not think is possible.

Book Review: Very in depth story of a tortured little girl
Summary: 5 Stars

I have read ALL of Torey L.Hayden's books, this being one of her best, an amazing story of a little girl exposed to cult rituals and horrifying things, a nudt have for any Torey reader

Book Review: not what i expected!
Summary: 3 Stars

This is the first of torey haydens books i have read and unfortunately it will be the last!
Jadie is the main child that hayden is focusing on for this novel but i felt hayden trivialised things for the sake of the book and in all honesty at the end of it all other than her speculation of what she thought had happened (and there was alot of speculation!) you never actually know what in fact was wrong with jadie!
I feel so very badly for the children that torey has helped as they have been through enough in their lives, and admittedly the books hayden has written help raise awareness to others such as myself who had an extremely happy childhood!
However I still would not seek another of her books i think they are very sensitive and should have been approached with a little more caution.
Sorry

Book Review: surprisingly good
Summary: 5 Stars

I have never read any of hadens books before and when I started this I did not have great expectations but I was suprised to see how much I really got into it and enjoyed it I was disappointed with the way it ended or how I thought it ended but once I read on I found out the information I was looking for and was pleased but I would like to find out if there is a follow up to this book and I would really like to know what is happening now not only to jadie but also to the rest of the kids in the class who through out the book I also felt myself getting close to great book you will enjoy no doubt!!!!
