Book Review: incredibly poignant
Summary: 5 Stars
this may be the most enjoyable book i've ever read, i could not put it down. i loved the development of the relationship between vermeer and griet. i thought the relationship was really moving and sad although i felt the ending was a little thin. i felt i never got really into vermeer's head the look he gave her at the end which i suppose was supposed to spell out everything he felt but i felt it left it unanswered. the moment when he touched her when she cried was unbelievably erotic with so much more meaning then some unoriginal sex scene. the book left me just feeling strangely changed and certainly changed the types of books i go for. i would recommend this book to everyone. it is superb it made me visit the vermeer gallery in london and it was wonderful thinking of tracy's interpretation of his paintings as i was walking round. AN ALL ROUND AWESOME BOOK
