God Gave Us You is an adorable book about how precious little ones are to their parents. Lisa Bergen has done a lovely job with this sweet little story. I love how the book affirms children over and over again that God gave them to their parents. It is so encouraging and warm. The story helps children to feel special, especially to their parents. It would be a great book to read at bedtime or naptime. Laura Bryant has done a great job on the illustrations. They are very sweet and the variety of animals will be fun for young children to identify. Some of the bears look a little goofy to me, but I'm not an expert on polar bears. They are still cute even though they look a little bit like moles to me from time to time.
I was curious about some of the themes in the book. They are explained in a way that is appropriate for children, but it seemed that some of the concepts were a little too mature. I felt that it answered questions that young children wouldn't ask. Though I was a little thrown by some of the concepts I still thoroughly enjoyed the book. I'm interested to read some of the other books by Lisa Bergren. I'm sure they will be just as sweet.

Truly a heart touching book! I loved the entire story! God' most precious gift! In the bible, James 1:17 - "Every good and perfect gift comes from above". Babies are truly a gift from God. I recieved ' God Gave Us the World by Lisa Tawn Bergren; illustrated by Laura J. Bryant as part of the Blogging for Books program yesterday. My Daughter loves it (She's two). I love that it shows God's creativity in a way she can understand. The book is written about a polar bear family where "Little Cub" is learning about God's creativity by learning about how different bears live. A bears around the world exhibit ends up being a great jumping off point for questions and answers. My kid loves the pictures of different types of bears and loved following "Little Cub." If you have a bear lover in the family, it is a great way to introduce them to God's creativity.Book Review: Good - but not what I thought

The book is good, but it's not what I thought. It's a little awkward on a few pages. I wish I knew the entire content of the book because parts of the story don't really apply to me. I probably won't recommend this book to another friend.Book Review: Good for baby and momma --and daddy too!

My wife had wanted this book long before little baby boy was born. She was so happy to get it. She reads it to him all the time. It has been a great bonding tool for all involved. I do recommend this is you have a little one or one on the way.
