Book Reviews of Golden Tarot DeckBook Review: Beautiful deck. Summary: 5 Stars
The artwork in this deck is one of the most beautiful I have seen in a deck. The imagery and symbolism in each illustration helps you understand the meaning of each card. The book that accompanies the deck is helpful. Also, it all fits in a cute little box!
Book Review: Beautiful images but hard to read Summary: 3 Stars
When I got this deck I sat and studied every image and even showed them to friends. Unfortunately I didn't have great success reading them. The source material didn't always lend itself to the interpretation and I found it hard to recall the meaning. And some of the cards I knew well just didn't hit home. I still have the deck and appreciate the care that went into creating it but don't use it for readings.

Book Review: Beautiful representation of history and digital integration Summary: 5 Stars
The art integration also refreshes and revisits art for fans of old Medieval to Renaissance. If you wanted your own set of personal gilded minatures for tarot enjoyment and storytelling, this is a fascinating collector item. I found it as an affordable visual tour of International Gothic art, worthy of many museum stores. Kat Black gives an excellent image source description in her well-done minature book. Trumps and minors draw from backgrounds and beautiful historic sites in Europe, including historic monument such the Schifanioa Palace of Ferarra. If you visit www.goldentarot.com, you can read more about her work and see all the images. She also has beautiful related products for the collector. The digital integration of many sources is done so seamlessly, I see each card as an independent work of art. I can well believe it took some 1600 hours to complete the deck. After a few uses, you will find some of the gilted edges have a bit of dust at the edges of the book or cards. If you are not allergic to this, this is a very minor nit. However I've encountered people who need to know this before buying products with metallic residue.
Book Review: Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful Summary: 5 Stars
This was my first Tarot deck, and it is definitely my favorite. The cards follow the Rider Waite symbolism, but I find them much richer and informative than a Rider Waite deck. Each card is a meticulous collage of medieval and renaissance art. That necessarily means that there is some heavy Christian symbolism. For some people, that will be a big selling point; for others, it's not so appealing. For me personally, the art itself is so opulent and compelling that the Christian overtones are very secondary. The cards themselves are a nice size on heavy cardstock and feel good in your hand.
The guide that comes with the deck is brief but very instructional. My major complaint is that it lists the minor arcana out of order - swords, wands, cups coins? Reversals are barely addressed.
Book Review: Best tarot cards Summary: 5 Stars
Have the Universal Waite Tarot Deck and the Deviant Moon Tarot. and the Golden tarot deck looks much better than both of them. colorful and it looks similar to the standard tarot card but you feel that it`s new improved version,, not like the waite tarot cards as it looks very old and poor drawing.
the box it comes with is also nice looking and you can put the cards in it after using it. the golden borders of the cards is a nice touch.
it`s the best whether for new learners or old ones.
