Book Reviews of Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, WitchBook Review: Heavenly wickid Summary: 4 StarsI read this book merely as a time filler in between Discworlds but I was suprised by how much I liked it. It was very funny and clever and was an all around great read. I loved Crowley and Aziraphale and I think they could support futher books easily. I wouldnt mind Armegeddon one bit if they were around to start the show.Good job Terry and Neil.I feel equally blessed and cursed to have read this masterpiece. Thankyou.
Book Review: Bloody Hilarious Summary: 5 StarsThis book was most definately one of THE funniest books I have ever read in my entire life. The is typical Pratchett, he takes the usual stereotypes and spins them round. For instance, have you ever heard of a Demon who drives a vintage Bentley and listens to Queen. This book is an excellent description of the road to Armageddon and back. Don't forget, the road to hell is paved with frozen door to door salesmen.
Book Review: Absolutely brilliant! Summary: 5 StarsA fantastic book; as a fan of Terry Pratchett's Discworld series and a total newcomer to Neil Gaiman I found this book extremely entertaining, funny and cleverly written. After coming to the end the first time I read it I started it immediately again from the beginning - It's that good!
Book Review: excellent and extremely witty Summary: 5 StarsThis book was an hilarious adaptation of 'The Omen' and really puts a lighter view on the end of the world. Who would ever have thought that Satanism could be so much fun.
Book Review: Freddy Mercury would approve. Summary: 5 StarsSends up The Omen, Rosemary's Baby, witchcraft, aliens, Just William, you, me, everybody... By far the most enjoyable book by Terry Pratchett and I'm off to find another book by Neil Gaiman.
