I found the first book at walmart, i just got it to hold me off until i could get a book i actually wanted, but as soon as i read it i fell in love with it. The Underland Chronicles has become my favorite series, the 5th one by far is the most suspensful, and exciting. But in my opinion some of the characters were underplayed in a sense. I think Howard should've had a bigger part along with a few others. I don't cry much but when i certain character was killed i bawled my eyes out [no joke], it was so shocking and unexpected. I didn't like the ending much, though it was an excellant book, it would be awesome if there was just one more telling us how things turned out, like if they do move or if everything in the underland turns out ok.Book Review: The Code of Claw-lanier

This book is great, from the beginning to the very last page you will find so many suprises that you wont be certain of what will happen and until that final period. You really need to read the first four books to fully understand the book and to truly feel the full effect of the book.
From the very beginning he drags you into another plot with a twist but im not gonna tell you the twist so you will have to read to find out.

I've been hooked on the Underland Chronicles for a year now, and I couldn't wait to read this one. One of my friends had read it and told me it was great. Gregor is still in the Underland, and he's just read that he's to die. Gregor and Luxa... wow. You don't know how long I've been waiting for them to get together. Although this book is fantastic, it was also very, very sad. Many lose their lives in a horrifying war, and the Bane is a moster. I had to give this book five stars, even though it was one of the saddest books I may ever read.Book Review: An Awesome Book!! Wih an amazing ending!

I absolutely LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!! I love this series and this is the best book in the series!
Continuing the ending from Gregor and the Marks of Secret, Gregor reads The Prophcy of Time, and learns of his death. From then, Gregor is trained to battle the Bane. Along the way, Gregor learns tht his mom is slowly recovering. Also, the Code of Claw, a code that enlists a team of different animals to crack it. And an unexpected visitor joins Gregor, Ripred, Howard, and Luxa for this final war. But when the code is figured out, and the war begins, not everyone will survive.
In all, Gregor and the Code Of Claw is a winner! I loved to read about Gregor and Luxa's relationship progress in the most satisfying way. Every chapter left me on the edge of my seat, and I got teary-eyed when I read of the characters killed off. I was really sad that this was the final installment of the series, but the ending was amazing! Suzanne Collins is my favorite author, and I love her writing! I think she should do a spin-off series, like what happened in the Underland after Gregor left. But I recommend this book to anyone, young or old, who enjoys reading. An excellent book!
