I just got done sending Greg an e-mail about how much I enjoyed his book. I was in the Seattle area at the start of it all, until about 1995.I had friends in the scene. I was even going to college to learn about recording music in 1990. If there was a book that told the story, this is it. It shows all the great sides of the scene I remember, and the decline that made alot of people roll thier eyes, especially when the PEARL JAM word was mentioned. This is a story told by the people who made the history they are speaking about, and they are very open and "as matter of factly ", about everything. Maybe that's why I miss that scene so much. If you were around then, living anywhere, I'm sure the book will jog some memories, or songs you were into. If you are younger, you can look at it as an introduction. I don't think a lot of people realize how much great music was in this area back then. And it's all in this book.---
