Summary: 4 Stars
My presonal ability in BJJ is still somewhat limited and with the lack of 'stand up' training in BJJ this book was a breath of fresh air. The basic (yet effective) descriptions are easy to read even for a newcomer, and i feel that even a person with no previous martial arts experience would benefit from this book.
My only negative comment about the book would be the lack of ground techniques. The book seems to focus on stand up, flying attacks and grip (all of which will help any practicing BJJ artist) but the basics of BJJ are ignored.
I would recommend this book, but would advise those who are looking to buy this to purchase another standard BJJ book to help your understanding and give you a more overall picture.
