Book Reviews of Guitar for DummiesBook Review: the best yet Summary: 5 Stars
I have used this book to learn some stuff and have recommended it to others. I have some background some of the other folks did not. Everyone loved it and everyone learned from it. You can go on to almost any other book from here and know what to do. Great starting point / refresher
Book Review: very explanatory Summary: 5 Stars
this book has lots of examples and pictures in it to show you how to play your chords. it shows you how to read chords, tablature, and notes...it's easy for beginners who are just learning the guitar to understand it. even if you don't know ANYTHING about a guitar, it tells you about it from the ground up. i suggest all you kids who want to be guitarists buy this book, it'll help you a lot.
Book Review: very good overview for beginners Summary: 5 Stars
This is a very good overview for beginners. The word "overview" should be emphasized: I wouldn't recommend that anyone make it his ONLY book for very long. On the other hand, you don't have to be an ABSOLUTE to beginner to get something, quite a lot, actually, out of this book. (Intermediate and advanced players might care to look into something like Ron Rendek's "We Gather Together", for example, instead.)
