This picture book illustrates a hilarious portion of Jerry Seinfeld's comedy routine about the trials and tribulations of Halloween and Trick-or-Treating.
Fans of Seinfeld shouldn't miss out on owning this book. Though it may be a childrens picture book, it is still equally fun for adults! We've all been there! From the many troubles with costumes, to the feelings of joy at the memory of discovering what Halloween is all about (it's candy), to the memory of realizing you're getting a little too old for the manic expedition of Trick-or-Treating.
Seinfeld's book "Halloween" is exactly like his comedy routine, which is awesome! It has the ability to make us laugh while at the same time invoking a feeling of quiet reflection and agreement with the ideas and situations he talks about.
I had the extremely lucky opportunity a couple years ago to watch Jerry Seinfeld live on stage as he tested some of his new comedy material (I'm still waiting for that comedy routine to be released on CD because it was truly hilarious), but my point is that he's one of the funniest comedians today, and this book is only a tiny piece of proof.
Even if you're not particularly a Seinfeld fan, this book is still enjoyable, especially for Halloween lovers.
