Book Review: Perefct for beginning reader

I've never written a review before, but I thought this might help anyone with a struggling reader. I bought this for my 7 (soon to be 8) year old daughter. She was begging for a hamster, so I worked in a requirement that she finish a book about caring for a hamster before I allowed her to get one. This book was at her level, some difficult words, but she stuck with it because she wanted the hamster. She finished the book in approximately a week. She still uses it as a reference in caring for "Chloe". Overall, I think it's a great book for a younger child who may be struggling.
