Book Review: Close but no cigar....
Summary: 4 Stars
Well, the fact that JK Rowling has got another bestseller on her hands was always a given. But it does have to be said that this particular book lacks the pace that some of the others has had. It's clearly written although I do feel it's more now an adult book than a children's book and highly entertaining but it's only in the last quarter of the book that anything actually happens.As I appear to be the first person to write a review, I'm not going to spoil anything but be prepared with hankies because the rumours are true, there is another death. But it is tempered with some lovely relationships and there is a major twist in the tale...
I look forward to the final book as this has some of the same issues as the empire strikes back, it's a set up for the final showdown but this one won't go down in history as one of her best.
