Book Reviews of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Book 3)

Book Review: You can't stop reading it!
Summary: 5 Stars

Harry Potter is on yet another adventure. He decides to run away from his uncle, catch a wizard and witch night bus to London and stay in pub waiting to go to Hogwarts. He meets Hermione and Ron there who also stay with him but if you want to carry on to find out what happens next then buy the BOOK!Its brilliant.

Book Review: Exciting,strange and mysterious.
Summary: 5 Stars

I think Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban differs from the other two in a number of ways , firstly the story line is quite normal in some ways like the fact that the main character (apart from Harry) is a criminal (Sirius Black)which is quite normal (compared with magic and wizards) and secondly that touch of normality seems to make the story more realistic.I think Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is a very good story and I think any one up to 11 years old would be privileged to read it .If you are not at all aqquianted with Harry Potter then I think you should read the first two before you read this one as it quite often refers to the events that take place in the first two books.

Book Review: Much better than ANYTHING ELSE I've read, even books 1 & 2.
Summary: 5 Stars

Dad got me this book yesterday and I finished it tonight. I couldn't put it down! It was SO EXCELLENT!! The main characters in this book are Harry, (of course,) Ron, Hermione, and Sirius Black. It's really really exciting, and the ending is GREAT! J.K. Rowling keeps you guessing all the time. It was a bit sad in places, too, but it was funny as well. I recommend this book to ANYONE over the age of about six. Annie age 9

Book Review: Stronger & more scary than last two.
Summary: 4 Stars

The third Harry Potter is both stronger & more sophisticated than the previous two. This is not to denigrate the others (which were addictive) but this one has developed the principal characters to a far greater and more sympathetic extent; and allowed a greater atmosphere of terror into the writing. The action also is heightened both in the Quidditch game with fellow pupils and in the dealings with baddies. The entire series seems to be moving onto another level - one where 12 year olds and 30 year olds will be fighting for first go. I myself had to extract this from my sister's suitcase and stay up til 3am before she moved 6000 miles away! I feel The Famous Five syndrome here - where "grown-ups" discuss the character and motivation of George (then) or Hermione (now). Stay cool, Jo Rowling!

Book Review: A very good book.
Summary: 5 Stars

I liked the the book because it is one of not very many books about magic. It follows on from the other books well and it is quite short and does not take a week like some books. I started to read the book yesterday and finished yesterday. Tom Honey
