Book Reviews of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Book 3)Book Review: Rowlings is a Genius. Summary: 5 StarsWhen I read the first Harry Potter book, I thought Rowlings a gifted, imaginative author. However, she kept up the pace and originality for the following two titles as well, demonstrating to the public what a truly gifted writer she is. Kudos to an author who has managed to keep the interest of children, young adults, and adults! The pleasure of reading (and re-reading) something so fresh is a wonderful thing and worth the higher price since I couldn't wait for it to come out in the US!
Book Review: American college students can rejoice now. Summary: 5 StarsAs an American college student I've made it my duty to let the entire 18-23 year old population of this country know the beauty that is Harry Potter. While studying in England I stumbled across Harry at the prodding of my mother and now am hopelessly in love with him and his friends. With my family (the youngest of us being 14) we prod the deeper meanings of Pottermania. This newest book is much more thrilling than the previous two and I am psyched beyond all remedy for having been able to get it from Amazon. This is not a book for the weak of heart and it goes into the past of one of, what I consider, the most intricate characters Rowling has to offer; Snape. If there is any fault with it, it is my fear for Ginny in the presence of this Cho Chang chick. But if you love Hagrid, can name Ron's favorite Quidditch team, and are able to pronounce Hermione's name correctly, then this book is for you.
Book Review: A totally gripping and exciting book, a must read. Summary: 5 StarsHarry Potter - Prisoner of Azkaban - is definitely the best in the series so far.In my opinion,Harry Potter books are the best.Best children books ever written and for adults too.To prove this , J.K.Rowling has won five awards already ! including The Children's Book Award and the Smarties award -twice ! I found that from the first sentence to the last chapter, I could not put it down for one second.Harry is a wizard, famous for not been killed by a dark lord. Amazingly Harry survived when he was a baby. Along with his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, they just can't help themselves getting into adventures at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizadry. A great read ! Kieran Age 10
Book Review: Absouloutly brilliant. Never read anything like it. Summary: 5 StarsWhen you read the two Harry Potter books, I'm sure you will agree they are exteremly good books. I was worried that it would be much worse than the others, because J.K.Rowlings two others were so spectacular. However my doubts are now washed away.Harry Potter has to read his spell books at the dead of night because his mediavil uncle and Aunt do not belive in wizardry and are mortally afraid of Harry. Harry is worn out by his relatives behaviour, and when his Aunt Marge comes to visit, she blows the last straw. Harry leaves home, only to be picked up by the Knights Bus, and shoots of to the Leaky Cauldron where he meets the Minister of magic who the buys him a room for the night. (Phew!) Soon Harry hears his friend Ron's parents talking. He learnt that a convicted murderer was after him, and Hogwarts were having Dementors surround the school. Harry starts to wonder why they would want to this just for him, but then he finds out.......
