Book Reviews of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Book 1)Book Review: The best book I ever read- for all ages! Summary: 5 StarsHarry Potter is living with the most miserable relatives in the world, when suddenly his life changes. Harry is whisked of to Hogwarts school for witches and wizards, and the adventures he has there are wonderful, The book makes you feel like you are there with Harry-you wont be able to put it down!
Book Review: This book is brilliant! Summary: 5 StarsMy Dad and I read this book together. We both thought it was brilliant. The best bits are when Harry Potter plays the game of Quidditch and when he goes through the trap door to find the Philosophers Stone - not the different title in England to USA. We're now really enjoying the next book - Harry Pottter and the Chamber of Secrets - and can't wait for the third book which is due in 1999.
Book Review: REALLY AWESOME!!!!! Summary: 5 StarsI am the biggest fan!! My penpal gave me Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone for my Christmas. I really love it. You should see my copy now!!! It's got about 100 dogears in it and it's all torn and bashed up. And I wasn't kidding when I said I was the biggest fan. I'm a member of the fan club, I know everything about it, and I want to be just like Joanne Rowling when I'm older. I've also got the sequel of the book and two signitures from the author.
Book Review: Fun fronm start to finish. Summary: 5 StarsI bought this book for my nephew but having heard how good it was I read it myself. I was not disappointed - it's an excellent read and one of the more original childrens' books I've read for some time. In fact I enjoyed it so much I've just bought the new book and I can hardly wait for the next one. There is no age limit to enjoying good books!!
Book Review: Great book! Summary: 5 StarsWhen my dad started to read Harry Potter to my sister and me, we never wanted him to stop. It was so exciting and suspenseful. When my dad finished for the night, my sister and I started to jump on him to try and make him read more. The morning he stopped just as Harry entered the last chamber, I thought about what would happen next the whole day.The book made me want to go to Hogwarts. Hogwarts is a school for teaching magic. I would like to learn magic, but I haven't gotten my letter of invitation yet. That's probably because I'm not old enough yet. My favorite character was Ron. Ron was funny, and he was really nice. He is also good at chess. (If you read the book, you'll find out why that's important.) I liked Fred and George, Ron's brothers, too, because they were funny. You should read this book, if you like magic. There's lots of adventures. It's great!
