Book Reviews of Heaven, Texas

Book Review: Excellent
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this book. The characters are funny and you will have a good time with them. Gracie is a character you can connect to. The ending was written perfectly.

Book Review: Excellent writing and good hearted, warm stories
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is part of a trilogy. I didn't know that at first. I read them out of order but still enjoyed every minute of each one. Susan has her own unique way of writing. I look forward to her new books.

Book Review: Excellent! It was one of the best romances ever.
Summary: 5 Stars

I love Susan Elizabeth Phillips and this was undoubtedly one of her best efforts. I have been looking for more romance authors since I 've read all of Judith McNaught, Sandra Brown, and most of Nora Roberts. She is funny, and the heroes and heroines are believeable. It was great!!!

Book Review: FANTASTIC!
Summary: 5 Stars

This was the best book I have read in ages! It made me laugh (hilariously) and cry. Gracie is a great heroine that is believable and you couldn't get a better hero than Bobby Tom! Definitely get this book as you won't regret it. Absolutely Wonderful!

Book Review: Fabulous
Summary: 5 Stars

If you like funny contemporary romances with strong but far from perfect characters that really seem to have chemistry between them, then this book is for you.

I could not put it down. I started it and was immediately put off by the name Bobby Tom. I flipped through the pages hoping that he was not referred to as Bobby Tom all the way through. I almost chucked it when I saw that he was but boy would I have missed out on a treat. BT was funny and really quite sexy. While Gracie was a strong woman who accepted herself for what she was and BT for what she thought he was. Hate novels where the woman agonises and pines over some twit. And the two of them were so funny, their antics had me laughing out loud on several occasions.

I stayed up till almost 7am one night reading this book till exhaustion got the better of me. I am now quite a fan of SEP and can't wait to read another of her books.
