Book Review: A Great Additon and Suprise

I have read all of the Sevenwater Series and I was more than excited when I found out that there was going to more to the series than just the trilogy. Like all her stories, Marillier focuses on the most unlikely person to go through such an ordeal. But Clodagh is the perfect character with a big heart that leads her in the unselfish find of her kidnapped baby brother. And, of course she finds a dashing man to annoy and bring up feelings that she didn't expect, while on the trip. The story isn't just a boring tale of love but also of mystery and adventure and the romance is just a small fraction of the whole book. Again, Juliet Marillier has left me wanting another Sevenwater story because she left me with awe in this one. Even though there are some parts that drag and brings up questions, they are forgotten by the deadly battle between father and son at the end. Love this book!
