Book Review: Fast paced and full of excitement...

I picked this book up on a whim, after being bored with my current readings, and was pleasantly surprised how much i enjoyed it.
Jezebel the succubus makes for a fast paced, humorous, and brisk ride through the life of a past demon struggling to get through life in New York city.
The story is a page turner from start to finish and really keeps you entertained. I love Jezebels sarcastic humor and lust for life. Its amusing how a former demon can enjoy the life of a human so much.
But while the book was an entertaining brisk read, some of the characters and plot points seemed 'rushed' or 'fake.' I really cannot fathom a police officer acting this way and being attracted to someone, ie Jezebel putting out way too many crazy and past baggage vibes out there on a first date, and some of the characters plot points felt tacked on late in the book... especially Romans.
All in all, this was a fun guilty pleasure read well worth my time.
