Book Review: Great Intro to New Baby

My 2-1/2 year old loves this book. It has helped her understand much better what the arrival of a new baby in our house (and in several of her friends' homes) will mean, what happens ahead of time, and what will happen when the baby is here. We've been reading this to her since she was about 2 as we prepared for the arrival of babies in various friends' homes.Book Review: Great book

I bought several books to prepare my son (almost 2) for the arrival of his little sister. This was the best book. He enjoyed reading it again and again. It put pictures to our explanation to him that a baby was in mommy's tummy. It is realistic but fun and simple.

I bought this book for my 2 year old when I was expecting my second child. As a physician and a mom, I love that this book teaches about what goes on inside mom's belly not just what to expect when the baby comes home, though it does that well too. I also love that breastfeeding is introduced as the normal way to feed babies, as it has been since mankind began. I since lent this book to a friend and never got it back. If I have any more kids, I will buy this book again, this time in hard cover.Book Review: Great book for new sibling

This is a wonderful book to introduce your child to a new sibling. I have a 20 month old and the language is a little above her head, so we focus on the pictures and the baby in mommy's belly. I have recommended Hello Baby to my friends who are pregnant. It is a good buyBook Review: Great book!

I bought several books on this topic for my 3 year old and she likes this one the best. It has great pictures of a baby growing in the womb and simple explainations. The older sibling (a boy) feels the baby kick, goes to the Dr. with his mom and hears the baby's heartbeat and helps get out his baby clothes and toys for the new baby. Then his grandmother comes over to watch him while the mommy and daddy go to the hospital. He helps hold and bathe the baby and soothe her when she cries. My child asks for this over and over.
