Book Review: Frank Herbert at his best

I'm the first person to review this for Amazon. When I saw that it hadn't been reviewed yet, I couldn't resist doing so. In some small way it might pay Frank Herbert back for the pleasure that all his books have brought me. It's a while since I read this last, but I must have read it 4 or 5 times, and each time it brings out something new. Of the six books in the series the previous one - God Emperpor is probably the least good. I refuse to use the word worst in relationship to any Dune book (except Brian's). So don't give up after God Emperor, Heretics & Chapter House are top class Herbert. I prefer them to Dune, but that's unfair 'cause they couldn't exist without Dune. If you've read the others you have to read Heretics and Chapter House, they raise the series to new heights, and leave the reader begging for more. In what other series does the hero get killed in the first book. The only shame is that there won't be any more, and all the questions raised will now go unanswered. Oh for an axalotl tank and a hair from Brian's head.
