Book Review: Great book for a specific part of Mass.
Summary: 4 Stars
A great book consisting of 50 circuit hikes around Central Mass. Without a lot of the 'urban' hikes near Boston cluttering up this book, the author can really explore central MA and bring out some real gems. The hikes are easy to moderate, and all can be done within a day (easily). It's a great way to work through the wonderful scenery out here in this often overlooked part of MA.
One quibble would be the driving directions to the hike trailheads. Often confusing and poorly written, with unclear maps, this part of the book really needs a re-write, especially in light of Google Maps and the like.
