Book Review: A wonderful book!
Summary: 5 Stars
This book has absolutely fantastic illustrations. If you have more time on your hands, you can read each chapter from beginning to end (text is wonderful); if you have less time - as is probably the case if you are in medical school) - then just go to the end of each chapter and study the "plates" (large photomicrographs) and their concise descriptions - this will give you enough info to do excellent!
In-text illustrations are also wonderful, and have very good, clear captions.
Also, I like the pathways/physiology diagrams and various tables in this book, and have used them throughout med school.
