As a fan of the game series, I was very interested in this book. While not the deepest, intellectual read I've ever had, it was pleasantly surprised with the book. It takes the character to new places and does expand on what makes him tick. Some of the other characters are fairly flat and most are quickly dealt with by the protaganist. For someone with no knowledge of the games, it will be an easy, action-packed read. For a die-hard fan, there are plenty of "yea, right!" moments, but still I enjoyed the franchise (not 'The Franchise', mind you) moving to another media. I liked the story which had a straight forward approach to writing. The author didn't spend too much time describing their surroundings which is somewhat of a time saver when trying to setup the mood. Most of the book is action packed so I could understand why. He gave enough information for you to filled in the gaps so he can tell the story. It isn't one of those who-done-it books. Also, it doesn't really go back and describe Agents 47's history, but goes into a new story altogether and really is well written. If you want an action packed book that you won't want to put down until you finish then you have picked the right book.Book Review: Great Action Book

Hitman has good action throughout the book. The book is based off of the video games and it came out before the movie. Although the story line doesn't follow the story line for the games nor for the movie, it still is an amazing book. Detailed graphic parts make it for a more mature audience, but definitely a good buy
