Book Review: A total waste of money

This book is just plain bad! I don't like be overly harsh in my reviews but the complete absence of genuinely useful information in this book is nearly enough to make it an out and out 'rip-off'.
The book purports to be a guide to particular hobby-farming topics but does little more than introduce certain things and then suggest the reader research the topic more fully elsewhere. Topics that fill whole books by other authors are dealt with in no more than a handful of paragraphs. I appreciate that the book is supposed to be an 'overview' of hobby-farming, but that particular characterization does not excuse the woefully inadequate quality of the information provided. To be honest, I would say that just about anyone with enough interest in hobby-farming to buy books on the subject is likely to have more general knowledge than they could possibly find in these pages. Conversely, those who could actually find something of genuine use in this book would probably actually have to be Dummies!
