Book Review: A kid's review

Man that book was awesome! Holes is the greatest book ever and it was a good read. A boy named Stanley Yelnats was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was blamed for stealing something that he didn't do so now he was sent to a correction facility called Camp Green Lake to dig holes. Camp Green Lake was the hottest, driest lake in Texas. Why is the lake dry? How does he survive digging those holes? You can answer those questions if you read it. Stanley makes a friend at the correction facility named zero. The setting of the book is like a desert and there is no water just sand and heat. I thought that the book was amazing because it tells about a boy who was a poor kid and all of the sudden the shoes fell from the sky and into Stanley's hands and that happened and his life changed a lot. He made tons of new friends like on pg. 100-200 he makes new friends like zero, armpit and squid. The writer's style is a survival/drama type book. I would recommend this book to many people.
